"Secrets Within" Douglas Fir - 2"h x 3"w - This bowl is a very small piece of an old growth tree estimated to be at least 500 years old. Turned, sandblasted, dyed black, painted and gilded copper inside.

“Altered Presence” - White Oak 2 5/8”h x 4 3/8”w - The direction of the grain changes dramatically as this piece is viewed from different perspectives.

“Tranquility” - Madrone with dyed Maple rim 3”h x 6 1/2”w - Turned, Carved and Painted with acrylic paint.

“Fortuitous Perception” - Big Leaf Maple with ebony rim. 5 1/4”h x 3 5/8”w - Turned, Carved and Painted with fluid acrylic paint.

The below piece, “Entwined Fortuity”, was done for an invitational show, “Boxes to Die For”, at the Messler Gallery in Rockport ME, opening in January. It includes about 30 wood artists from several countries. I am truly honored to be included in this group of “who’s who” in the world of wood art.
